The Minister of Social Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu, will today, Friday, 26 January 2024 lead a service delivery oversight visit to SASSA Local Office in Wynberg, Western Cape Province. 

The SASSA Local office in Wynberg is one of the busiest in the Western Cape Region. The purpose of the oversight visit is to assess SASSA’s queue management system, which was piloted in 2022 to improve SASSA’s operational efficiency, better customer experience in less time and create a better operating environment for staff. 

During the visit, Minister Zulu will interact with SASSA staff, social grants beneficiaries and applicants and beneficiaries to get their feedback and identify areas that require attention in an effort to enhance customer experience.
