The Minister of Social Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu, will on Wednesday, 6 October 2021 conduct frontline service-delivery monitoring visits to South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) and South African Post Office (SAPO) local offices in Warrenton, Northern Cape.

October is Social Development Month. The 2021 theme for DSD Month is: “Delivering DSD services during COVID-19 in the Year of Charlotte Maxeke”

This month will be used to further reach out to vulnerable individuals and households in rural communities, while also promoting access to social development services ranging from Early Childhood Development (ECD), youth development, social protection, victim empowerment programmes, poverty eradication and anti-substance programmes.
