As part of addressing various social ills and challenges including teenage pregnancy, school dropouts, substance abuse and Gender-Based Violence, the Minister of Social Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu, will on Saturday, 28 August 2021, address the Annual Mothers and Daughters dialogue in Benoni, Gauteng.

 

This initiative is part of Positive Vibrations Arts Foundation of Hope for Girls which provides assistance to girl learners with amongst other things; African Oral History, Constitutional Literacy, Leadership, Heritage and National Identity, Life Orientation, Arts, Culture and Sports, Debates and Public Speaking.

 

These efforts are aimed at empowering Grade 4 to 11 girl learners to live positive lives and also serve as a long-term investment towards preparing a new independent female who would soon take the overcome the challenges  of underdevelopment and stereotypes against women.
