“Unity in Action, Youth Action Propelling South Africa Forward”

 

The Minister of Social Development (DSD), Ms Bathabile Dlamini, will, on Sunday, December 10, be holding the closing ceremony of the Annual DSD Youth Camp at the 3 South African Infantry (SAI) Battalion in Roodepan, Kimberley.

This youth camp is in its fifth year and in partnership with the Department of Defence. The aim of the camp is to integrate youth from various backgrounds and allow them to learn from each other.

It comprises Minister Dlamini interacting with the youth and speaking to them about their experience of the camp.

The department’s investment on the youth is part of ongoing objectives to create future community leaders and building a capable state as envisaged by the National Development Plan (2030).
