MEDIA ADVISORY  

 Minister of Social Development, Ms Bathabile Dlamini, will tomorrow Thursday 02 August  hold a media briefing at Summer Place Boutique Hotel in Germiston (Ekurhuleni). Minister will brief the media on the following issues:

• Report back  the Auditor-General’s findings

• Report back on Sassa re-registration process

• Report back on NPO National Dialogue

After the media briefing ,Minister will meet with the Members of the Executive Council (MECs) responsible for Social Development from all nine provinces. The main purpose of this forum is to ensure consultation and coordination in implementing the national priorities and achieving the national goals. The meeting will focus on a number of key policy issues and service delivery .
On the second day (Friday, 03 August) Minister and the MECs will conduct outreach programme and visit community development projects in Brakpan and Daveyton .
