Friday, 31 August 2018
31 August 2018: The Department of Social Development as the lead Department in the coordination and implementation of the Drug Master Plan, is launching and driving the 9-9-9 Campaign. The campaign is taking place on the ninth month of the year, in all nine provinces over nine consecutive days.

Spearheaded by the Deputy Minister of the Department, Mrs Hendrietta Bogopane-Zulu, the campaign will be launched through round table discussions with members of the community.

This will culminate into closing event on the 09 September, which is the International Foetal Alcohol Syndrome Day, where participants from across societal sectors will be in dialogue about various programmes to be undertaken to eradicate Foetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS).
